It’s no secret Instagram is my love language, so I wanted to share 10 favorite creative accounts to follow on the platform. I hope these inspire you and bring you joy like they do for me.

1. Becca Classon, @beccaclasson

Lovers of typography, stop-motion, and food unite! Becca Classon flawlessly combines several of my favorite things into her craft of tactile lettering and genius campaigns. I always enjoy seeing which unexpected item she’ll use next to form letters and patterns, but I also love seeing the behind-the-scenes videos she shares of her process.

2. Olivia Herrick, @oliviaherrickdesign

Despite being a self-diagnosed chromophobe, the color combinations on Olivia’s page truly bring me such joy. I love her color combinations, organic shapes, and incorporation of fun quotes.

3. Philip Boelter, @boelterdesignco

I could watch videos of Philip painting all day long. He’s the modern-day Bob Ross. He has the steadiest hand, which makes his paintings look more like vector art than a hand drawn image, and I enjoy that he predominantly paints plants and flowers.

4. Ali Beckman, @soflytaxidermy

A bit of illustration, a dash of typography, a pinch of humor, and a whole lotta bugs. I followed this account on a whim once, assuming the appeal of seeing insect parts incorporated into sketches would wear off eventually, but it hasn’t yet. This account takes creative thinking to a new level, and I love seeing the new concepts Ali comes up with every day.

5. Alessandra Olanow, @aolanow

Alessandra has quickly become one of my favorite accounts to follow. I love her illustration style and relate to the content of her work (especially any coffee-related post). I also love her personal story of how she became an illustrator and her respect for neutral colors.

6. Dom & Dom, @allthatisshe

This account is so inventive, I’m not sure how to categorize it, but that’s actually what I like about it. Dom has looped her entire family into acting out different scenes that trick the eye, from camera tricks to stop-motion to matching outfits, and I find it fascinating.

Booky Margoof is a toy maker and designer with a wild imagination. They use a mix of wood, plastic, and textiles to create fun creatures with a signature stamp of a smile. It’s so fun to see their different ideas come to life.

8. Joy The Baker, @drakeoncake

Does food art count? If so, this account is definitely a favorite. As an amateur baker myself, I know how difficult it is to decorate a cake well, but Joy The Baker makes beautiful, edible creations and infuses them with my favorite musical artist. You can’t get better than that!
