Their goal for this campaign was to incorporate email marketing with copy-writing, photography, and illustration to highlight members of the Council in order to attract potential new members.

capturing our audience
We worked alongside the VA CEOs team to schedule and execute three photoshoots of 17 individuals over the course of two weeks. Photo editing was also involved in this phase of the project.
weaving our story
Hand illustrations were drawn for each CEO based on their companies, personalities, and hobbies. We worked closely with the VA CEOs team to discuss which elements were best to include for each CEO and how to incorporate them together.



copy-writing and e-mail marketing
Copy was written to support the illustrations and share information about the CEO being featured. We also consulted with the team to create effective calls to action and user experience within each email.

After the Virginia Council of CEOs email campaign, Virginia Council of CEOs received 134 introductions to potential new members, 97 of which included face-to-face meetings to discuss the benefits of joining the Council, and 45 new members.
